yeah I read about it, it may even be China that is artificial lower the rate for some reason.

Why you guys think it is important with an Bitcoin ATM? I have cards that cash out my Bitcoins in EURO and USD 😀

Not all bitcoin atms have option of withdrawal. I can confirm that in lj (slovenia) there are 4 bitcoin atm and only one can accept coins so you withdraw cash. The other have only the option to buy btc with cash (4,900€ max for single transaction) apparently no ID verification or anything but you have to use wallet on your phone so having a 'burner' phone is advisable.

*fee is 4,5% for buying if i recall correctly

There are different Bitcoin ATM (1-way and 2-way).

I know , I was just stating that in slovenia (ljubljana) only one is 2-way.

Here is a locator for Bitcoin ATM's. Shows buy/sell price margins and limits. My local one is buy 6%, sell 4% and 1k transaction limit. The average buy is 9.5% and average sell fee 6.5% so its worth hunting around, if you can.

ha anyone tried such BTC ATMs?

i've tried the "lamassu" atm btc it's pretty straightforward, you only need wallet on your phone. first it asks you to provide your wallets qr code and it scans it from your phones screen then you enter cash bills and that is pretty much it.

The one I tried was unplugged and the shopkeeper said he'd sell at the same rate. I think it was a scam for him to get higher rates 😉
