Hello,

is it possible to have an offshore entity with european VAT-ID?

If that is not possible, which country is the best choice for an onshore company in terms
of low taxation/dividends to foreign shareholders, low admin effort and fees e.g. audits etc.

Hungary
Lichtenstein
Cyprus
Ireland

Objective of the entity is trading (acts as a purchase agent) and some supplier in Europe are not keen to be involved into the export process.

Cyprus Offshore can't have EU VAT ID?

The only way you can do this with a Cyprus company is if it is resident, so it is easy to register the company for VAT.

Non Resident Cyprus companies can't be registered for VAT.

Thanks, will look into the resident/onshore options of the countries with the lowest tax and without withholding tax for foreign individuals/companies.
Hungary looks quite interesting, especially you good lower tax rate by royalties, interest payments etc.

Cyprus has no tax on royalties and interest payments at all as far as I know from my current company, just to mention it.

Lots of money. I'm doing so far fine with Seychelles and Belize, however, what I consider is to register a Cyprus company and use the Seychelles corp as nominee director and shareholder in the Cyprus corp. does that work you think?
