Hello!
I wonder how you act if you have an offshore company and if you invoice another business which requires signing the invoices and you do not want to manifest your personality in the invoice. We could then sign with the imaginary personas signature”¦Do the B2B invoice transactions often lead to identity checks by the invoiced party? How do they know the person who has just signed the invoice is actually working in the company? Can we just hire a company secretary (from offshore agent) who will sign them for us or it can be costly if the number of invoices is large?
Dave

Well, so far I have only seen this be a required by Indian companies. You can sign yourself I doubt they will verify it at all. Otherwise you can appoint nominees i.e. director and shareholder that can sign the invoice.

To check the signature they will need to get a copy of passport or utility bill from the person that signed the invoice. This would be easy to fake for someone that knows.

Thank you - each signature is usually billed separately?

Please reupload the document. It seems you confuse a Invoice with a contract but I would like to get a better picture of it by reading the doc.

hmmm I don't get it now.. this is not a Invoice but a contract? Or did I miss something 🙂

well it looks like it is an invoice and a contract combined....they ask the buyer to agree to their disclaimer like you do on a website...

It is a contract they will send you a Invoice later on when you completed and signed the attached. I'm 100% certain on that!

So back to your initial question. You need to have a nominee to sign that contract or have simple fake docs available if you want to complete and sign it with unreal data!

Actually I do not want any fake - just wanted to conceal my identity altogether - so only nominee service - but do they charge for signatures - I have seen 20$ per signature prices...

It's a contract not invoice. I would like to ask the same question do you know if director charge a fee to sign any papers?

Why would anyone need to sign an invoice! In large corporations you have an accountant to sign all incoming invoices before they get paid!
