Japan Regulator Said to Be Investigating KDDI Bid for Jupiter

Japan’s financial-services regulator is investigating KDDI Corp.’s planned purchase of a 38 percent stake in Jupiter Telecommunications Co. from billionaire John Malone’s Liberty Global Inc., a government official familiar with the probe said.
