Hello!
Can a UK tax resident (who's also a bona-fide UK resident, with life and fulltime employment established in the UK) justify opening a company elsewhere for the purpose of having a mobile app business, publishing on Google Play and Apple App Store?

The work that goes into the company would take place from the UK so, as far as I remember, UK authorities could say that using a different jurisdiction with a significantly different taxation could be a non-justifiable workaround to UK corporate tax?

The country that was being considered was Estonia.

Many thanks

They want to understand the line where tax efficiency becomes tax avoidance and stay on the right side of it.

there's nothing efficient in managing a offshore company from UK and pretending not to pay UK taxes. Unless you create substance in the other country (hiring director, staff, renting office) all the income is taxable in UK
