A debit card linked to a self custodial wallet, nice idea from Wirex.
It runs on their own blockchain, which you can access via MetaMask. The bridge is not the fastest but it works.
At the moment they only support USDC USDT and DAI.
I have ordered a physical card.

I could only find this:

Flexible Authorization: Users can set spending limits and give permission to debit up to a specified amount, such as $1,000 per day. These limits can be adjusted or revoked at any time.

"It runs on their own blockchain" - that's where the tricky part regarding the self-custody is hidden I am afraid, need to study the tech behind that to see what control they have in their own chain.

Of course it's not intended for storing your crypto, only bridge to this chain the amount you need to spend.

isnt wirex scam? I tried to sign uup multiple times, the sign up form doesnt work for me. I tried their support multiple times, they dont understand that I am having trouble registering.
why would anyone trust such a company where support is too stupid to understand the sentence "I do not have an account, I need help registering"?
