these guys seem to discover the new bottom - they are unhappy that not everybody is willing to patiently wait and economically bleed out with the rest of the herd

I have seen Soviet Union style socialism... it was nothing compared to this next stage of human monstrosity

Yeah, but previously ECB dismissed Bitcoin as a something that would amount to nothing, go to zero, and that no serious person would consider. Now the tone has changed to Bitcoin being a threat that has to be stopped or at least curtailed.

And they are quoting and referencing Marty Bent - who would have thought that 5 years ago.

I wonder myself if they heard Larry talking before and then still write smth like that. Even if I knew nothing about finance, id at least consider Larrys opinion before going on to write smth like that.

Must be some special kind of stupid in the ECB.

Tempted to increase my short euro position.
 
If ruling class can't offer equitability then ruled one will create it by itself. This process is usually called revolution.
 
Ah yes, a European Union, where citizens face inflation, deindustrialization, zero real wage growth and rising technocracy, must be due to Bitcoin!

Speculative asset classes, that the government controls? Good! Bitoin? Bad!

FIAT currency that has eroded purchasing power and contributed to wealth inequality? Good! Bitcoin? Bad!

I can't wait for their next paper that pushes CBDC's as the saviour to all the problems of Bitcoin.
