I put €300K into a boat last week, I used it to get around in Europe slowly while I live in freedom so far. Once I know where to stay I can sell it and get most of my investment back again.
Why don't you keep your marine life? Maybe upgrade the boat.
Is that a sail or a motor boat?

No, I've just always had a boat when I was younger, and now I've bought this one. I actually paid less for it than what it's listed for in the link””it was a lightly used one.
The boat has built-in mobile internet that I use, which is super convenient. I'm not sure what brand it is, but I pay a monthly fee to the dealer, and it all runs automatically.
I'm planning to keep the boat for a year or two, and then sell it once I've found a suitable place. If there's enough space to keep a boat where I settle, then I'll hold onto it.

you can't compare the costs for a boat with renting an apartment. It depends on how far I go with the boat and if I need to fix stuff etc. but in average I would say it cost me 3500 - 4000€ every months. The boat is paid of

What about the cheap houses in Italy?
I would say they are cheap for a reason. Remote with a lack of infrastructure and in areas of declining population. It is like a share of a company where the general public believes in a bankruptcy soon.
They serve the purpose of shelter from rain. But you may have to invest in the substance for it to be sustainable for the coming years.
Good to live there. Probably hard to sell at profit. Unless you buy the whole country and solve their political and demographic issues.
Maybe buy an entire town and make a hip holiday and hipster village with a lot of entertainment. You may have to import work force too.
It really depends on how far I'm sailing. For example, if it's from Germany to Spain, I might use around 15K or more to get there. It's also not a trip I do in one go, but in many stages, so there are additional costs for mooring, provisions, etc.
But that's probably a bit off-topic to start diving deeper into all the details.
If you're talking about the 1 euro houses, then they usually come with a bunch of rules. Have to spend X euros in X months plus live there full time. As daniels27 said, selling may also be an issue. Liquidity might be a problem and finding a buyer could take a while.

Houses are cheap mostly because they are in places no one wants to live anymore, normally it is small towns in the middle of nowhere, they may have some appeal if you like this type of things, but in general the towns have a strong decreasing population, and they are difficult to reach. Above all locals don't really like foreigners, they normally don't speak English and they may even think you are exploiting their beautiful village (everyone in Italy thinks his own village is the most beautiful in the world)
Renting and reselling prices will be an issue, there is not much money in those areas.
There may be opportunity in less cheap areas, big cities or touristic costal areas still undeveloped. But there the issue is dealing with local authorities, that again are not friendly to any entrepreneurial initiative. Recently in some costal areas some new touristic resorts have been built, this is maybe something to look at..
