I am British but I do not live in the UK and am no longer a tax resident of the UK, I have a house in the UK that I stay at when visiting friends and family.

I want to setup a UK ltd company to buy property, I can obviously setup a business bank account using my UK address but all of the banks seem to ask for UK residence which seems to means tax resident, my question is can I just use my UK address for this?

I am not tax resident in the UK but would they know this?

Thanks

Basically open with Wise, Revolut etc and use your overseas address,

Also ensure your not really UK tax resident by following the SRT test below.

Thankyou I have consulted with an experienced tax advisor about residence and I am no longer tax resident as of this tax year.

I do have the option of EMI's but I was hoping to use a high street bank too.
