Hello,

I was looking at this guide : Unlock the Gates of Success: Mentor Group Gold!
And contacted the companies listed on it. switzerland-company.com replied to me quickly but there doesn't seem to be any information online about them.

I was wondering if someone here had any experience with them. the reply seems to come from someone at rbswiss.com

It's been a few years since I was in contact with this company; they seemed very professional at the time. However, we chose not to proceed with them.

It's rare to find reviews about good services online; most people keep it to themselves. It's only when things go wrong that they start to surface.

Personally, I went to Switzerland and visited the various companies I had identified, had an informal and free meeting with them, and formed my own impression.

So if i understand correctly you met with this company in person as well ?
Would you mind sharing why you didn't went with them and who you chose to use ?

I would think twice and thrice about forming a company in Switzerland unless you have a presence there, including yourself being based there. It's not a jurisdiction that's set up for foreign incorporation the same way the likes of UK, Cyprus, Hong Kong, and so on are.

Services like that are aimed at expats living in Switzerland.

But if you have well defined purpose for incorporating in Switzerland and have ruled out other options on good grounds, go for it.

STARTUPS.CH | Start your business now and https://newco.ch/en are similar services I know some people have used successfully.

In most cases when a non-resident foreigner forms a company in Switzerland, they go with a Treuhand (trustee) or lawyer in the canton they're interested in... Very often Zug for crypto and Zürich for most other businesses.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

Why Zürich? I would choose the one with the lowest possible corporate tax.

No, I just spoke with them by Skype, they were just not my choice.

No, not really, you can find some good ones already here in the thread or take a look at

Also, it is all about where you live. Personally there was no better place for me to open a Holding company then in Switzerland even though I didn't lived there. It all depends on what your goals are and where you live.

Otherwise I agree, Cyprus, Hong Kong etc. are some good alternatives.

Depends on how you operate and what your plans are. Talent pool and business friendly environment are two big factors.

TBH, corporate tax isn't a significant consideration for most businesses in startup stage. For most of them, being able to grow your business is more important than saving on taxes. When your profit starts going up into the millions, it might start to make sense to introduce a holding company in Zug, IP company somewhere else, and so on.

If you're profitable from the get go and your business doesn't need to worry about regulations, attractiveness for large number of employees, and so on ”” go for whichever one of Zug or Schwyz is currently offering the lowest tax rates.

Is Schwyz cheaper than Zug, I don't think so, when I looked at it the last time Schwyz was on a second place?

Well, I guess just because of they are accustomed to it there. As @Sols have mentioned, IMO it is not generally common that a non-resident foreigner forms a CH company.

Generally yes; but not for @slade991 's business case (as described here Incorporation for non KYC), I am afraid...

As always, anyone's mileage may vary...

@slade991, you may have a look at this post Incorporation for non KYC

I am just a simple countryman. Anything I say is only a personal opinion, not a certified advice 🙂

If you think it makes sense, you can like it; if opposite, please, tell me, why I am wrong...

Could you expand on that ? Is it because of the 35% dividend taxes ? Also is there a way to skip the dividend taxes?

Not so much because of taxes. Rather because of banks and bureaucracy, and lack of demand. It's a vicious cycle.

Forming a company in Switzerland is expensive and nine times out of ten has no advantage over jurisdictions that are cheaper and where the administrative aspects are suitable for non-resident.

Not saying Switzerland is a bad choice, just that it's rarely the best choice. If Switzerland meets your requirements and you're comfortable with the costs and other considerations, go for it.
