I mean Ecuador may end up being safer than EU at some point if EU continues to follow the U.S into the valley of death and take actions against their own interests. All actions taken so far in EU has been in U.S interest who has benefited financially by being able to sell more overpriced gas (LNG) and overpriced weapons (NATO) to Europe. None have been in interest of citizens of EU. A cold war between EU and Russia would be long term economically harmful to EU in terms of investments. And now that
Russia is biggest economy in Europe it will not go well for them either.
