My IBKR Portfolio - All Weather EUR Ed.

Hi,

This is my version of the Ray Dalio All Weather, with a focus only on EUR (but obviously largely exposed to USD/US anyway). The China exposure can be avoided, it's personal.

The idea behind this is that should work with all the scenarios and the only thing you should do would be, every 6 months or so, a rebalance.

Gov investment grade are just safer, much safer, in the long term.

I completely disagree with that, and actually, it's not me to say, numbers say a different story:

Period - Average Annual Growth All Weather vs S&P500
1973/2021: 9.60% vs 7.89%
1980/2021: 9,60% vs 9,39%
1990/2021: 8,64% vs 8.83%
2000/2021: 7,80% vs 5.77%
2011/2021: 7,55% vs 12,12% (the only period where S&P500 beat All Weather of quite a lot)

And all of this, with much less downturns.

Now you can say that time is over but... your opinion is.. just your opinion.

ETF's have only been around since the 90s.

The ETF's you listed in your portfolio the oldest one is from 2005. So no point showing data from before they existed...lol. Also ETF's can trade at premium, discount or fair value, plus currency hedging depending on currency class all play a part. So no underlyings should be factored in. I need to see actual performance of the specific ETF's you've shown 😀.

Please show me the total growth figures for your actual portfolio as posted not some random data. I am not being funny but I am just interested in the total portfolio growth of these specific ISIN's. Thanks

P.S Please include 2022 numbers also 😉
