I took the plunge and moved to Dubai in my quest for tax optimisation, but I needed an address for my TRC so I ended up buying a property.

It's unencumbered however I would benefit from refinancing into a resident mortgage.

Is anyone familiar with the process when you are an employee of your own FZCO?

Are they going to clasify me as self employed and offer a lower LTV/higher rate?

How months as an employee before you can apply?

Any brokers you would recommend or applying directly with the bank is best?

you'll be classified as self-employed and can get 60% of the valuation price. requirements for self-employed regarding months of stay is 2 years, and for company turnover quite high but can't remember exactly. if you apply to the bank directly you'll get rejected most probably. there are mortgage agents which can do the job for you however and get the bank approval. dm me for more info.
