Would anyone be able to help me find an offshore account In a jurisdiction that has low fees. Only looking to deposit a small amount of money to start and don't want it to be eaten up by fees. Thanks in advance

Swissquote for personal account with no minimum deposit.
Can be opened remotely.

Two important questions:
What do you mean by “low fees”?

Couple of months
Everything can be done remotely or if you are in Dubai, you can visit their representative in Dfic. But you still have to open account online.
Wire transfer from UAE hits swissquote same day.
They charge very low fee compared to other swiss banks but you have to understand that swissquote is both broker + bank.
Why go for a private swiss bank with alot of fees when you can get swissquote for very cheap.
Of course you don't get like vip banker and advice like others but if you know what you doing, it might be enough.

Since the mid-90s! It had another name then...I can't remember but maybe Marvel or something like that? Wegelin opened it up for me when Swiss bankers were REAL macho bankers. Then BSI (those Swiss Italians are my heroes) also opened other accounts for me. Even Credit Suisse did this for me. Those were the good old days when hard-working entrepreneurs could enjoy the fruits of their labor and sweat while politicians and public servants who did NOTHING to improve society were positioned exactly where they belonged in society: The Bottom of the Barrel! 😉

Never had an issue with Swissquote, but I also own a lot of their stock, so maybe this is the reason. I have NO way of knowing.

They are good. Keep it clean with them, please. They provide a great service.

Only a couple of months isn't enough to be satisfied with a bank experience. Most often the trouble starts once after a year or two.

The information that an account with this bank can be opened remotely is great to know.

Singapore's Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Standard Chartered Bank are a good choice, they do not have account management fees, Hong Kong's choice is more HSBC Citibank Standard Chartered Bank or some other banks
