I want to withdraw my director fees from us llc to eu.

It's super small, 3 figures per week.

Does revolut ask proof of funds?

Revolut will close your account at anytime

If they ask you for proof of fund you can say your account goodbye for few months and good luck getting it back

Wise is disaster but better than revolut when they close your account for months they will send it back to you at the end

The history of the money

How you got it and what reason

What is the benefits of Wise/Revolut Business versus other EMIs such as Airwallex, Paysera etc? Wise also seems more expensive than a few reputable EMIs/

Invoice / Agreement should suffice. Nobody will close your account for 3 figure weekly payment.

Banks are very simple creatures, all they want is a way for them to COVER THEIR a*s and for them to be able to understand/explain what you are doing. Provide them what they want and you can transact freely.

Not true. They asked me for proof of funds. Accepted it. They did not deactivate account ever.

Apologies for reviving this old topic, but I'm about to do the same: pay a 4 or 5 figure distribution from my US LLC to my EU Revolut account, either directly or through Wise.

What kind of proof did you provide?

They offer a number of options on their website, but nothing seems to be an obvious match.

Thread 'Owner's draw - Best description for the payment reference?'

Feb 12, 2025
Hi friends,

I searched the forum but nothing came up. What do you put in the reference field when doing an Owner's draw from your (disregarded) LLC to your personal account (Revolut) to make it as smooth as possible with the receiving bank?

Just "Owner's Draw" or "Owner's Draw - First Name Last Name". Some guy I know puts "Liquidity" in the reference.

Appreciate your experiences and suggestions.

Thanks!
