How do scammers get all these phone numbers which are fake?

When all these phone scammers call you, they have tons of different numbers, how are they doing it? Is there some software or service available from where you can call X and show XYZ number and if it get blocked you call him from the next XZY number and so on?

Yes, they use virtual numbers. Best is to have an extra phone number you use on websites to protect against it these days.

Simple rule.

If from a mobile phone, they can send ans SMS/text.
