not an entirely bad idea - I personally own couple of these "houses", but it seems that the peak (lack of IPv4 addresses) is behind us... not sure

where is the ROI of this type of investment if you don't mind to share your insides a little. If you have a few million euro to throw after it I think it can be good, but to be good you need lot's of customers??
 
I'm invested in a few datacenters and the ROIs are fairly good. There is a large upfront capital requirement, but if you can meet that then you can expect ROI within 3-4 years depending on how much you do in marketing and your overhead costs. All in all, no complaints.
