Hello all, I hope you can help.

If I take a car to Romania from the UK or from Georgia, I believe I can keep it there for up to 30 days (but I've also read 90days so I'm not sure on that point).

If I leave and then return, does this 30 or 90 day rule reset (basically per entrance)? Or is it per year?

i cant see how they can see how many days u been inside the country, Etc in Sweden the guys from Poland using there cars for years here with no issues from police etc.

They can only find out if you get a speeding ticket or there's an accident and you continue driving the car. In some countries, of course, there are so many cameras everywhere on the roads that there's a chance it will be discovered that the same car is driving around the country for a period. I don't know how likely it is.

My car was towed away in an EU country, and when I tracked it down, they had a report obtained from the UK showing the MOT was expired. I guess a police officer had seen it parked there on and off for a few months and decided to check it.
