I was looking for renting a house in the UK, no specific place in mind, is there a portal to look up such like they have in many of the other countries?

Per Calender Month aka Monthly rent
Per Week aka Weekly rent

And finally as an expat where would you live if you want some good climate, be close to one of the biggest cities but also have not far to the beach (100 km+) ?
