Hey Guys,

Looking to open an international bank account I am based in Australia and my business is based in the UK. Looking at Bankera or Wise but am open to suggestions. I need the account to be able to settle funds in and am open to any Banks you guys can vouch for. I am new to all this and just want to make sure I am choosing the best possible option and value the expert opinions in this group. Looking forward to your responses.

Traditional banks will be difficult, unless your business has presence and majority of directors resident in UK. Exceptions are rare.

If you look to EMIs, there is plethora in the UK. The most popular are Revolut and Wise, both of which are fine but only suitable for low risk businesses. When you look at EMIs, check whether they have access to SWIFT. Many are limited to domestic GBP and/or EUR SEPA only, which isn't enough if you want to remit money to Australia or anywhere else outside of UK/SEPA region.

I believe I fall under high risk I sell SARMs I will still try to apply as the laws around SARMs in the UK are very different to Australia. I have been invited to create a business account with Bankera would you recommend them?

My experiences with Bankera have ranged from unimpressive to bad, but they have many happy customers.

You can't have too many bank accounts for a business like this. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Open multiple accounts.

Setup a front shop to present to the banks. While SARMs are perfectly legal to be administered to your rats, you can't even try to explain this to the banking monkeys.
If you pretend to reside in Europe you can have a wide range of choices.

Thank you for the reply. How would I go about pretending to reside in Europe? Interested in this option I have spoke with a few banks and yes you are correct its impossible to explain haha.

By itself, it's not going to be worth prosecuting. But it is entering money laundering and bank fraud territory. Depends on applicable laws, of course.

It would be within the UK just to access processing facilities. Makes sense I would just want to make sure they only need the single utility bill don't want to be ask for further proof then be stuck.

I know a bunch of guys which are using Wise for steroid shop payments.
You just need to wire the money out ASAP everytime you receive something and prepare a bunch of wise accounts. Or better buy them.
