Residency address Malta

Hello there,

I am EU national and I will be applying for residency in Malta. My job requires lots of travels so I was hoping to be able to use Airbnb to be flexible about my dates. Is there any service which provides virtual residency address / what are the other options? Thank you for all the advices.

If anyone asks (bank, tax authority, immigration), you might struggle to provide adequate proof of residence with an AirBnb or similar as they're often seen as just holiday rentals, not permanent residences. Just rent a regular house or apartment and consider it cost of establishing residency in Malta.

If you want to stay on budget, just look for a studio in Mosta if you need to stay close to center... Or get something far south :O

No chance to get residency without a rental agreement. Please also note that you should be employed (in Malta ?) to have residency. If you are self-employed then please prepare yourself for a lengthy process with lots of questions asked and documents to provide.

What do you need the address for? What are you trying to achieve?
