Hello everybody,

Can you advise me based on your recent experience which EMIs today do not require live KYC for business accounts?

At the moment I only know Payoneer and Wise but I would like to try others.

Thank you

Expect ID+selfie to be discontinued, eventually all EMIs will use some third party live verification service.

I know bro, that's the trend. But perhaps there are some banks that are not properly updated with current security systems.
For example, most gateways still don't do any live verification. Stripe started a few months ago.

Liveliness tests are a requirement of EU's AMLD5 that has been adopted while ago. Might as well get with program today rather then look for companies that will be fined or have their licenses revoked for AML deficiencies in future. When this happens your money can be blocked for 2 years or more like what happened to epayments.

I would avoid these banks if they still exist.

Best to just adapt to the new reality that liveness tests are going to be required. Even if you open an account now while some institutions are still on a grace period for implementation, it's just a matter of time until they come asking for liveness. And you don't want to be in a position where you have a few hundred thousand sitting on an account and unable to verify the identity of the account holder.

Two years, as @Martin Everson said. It's a long time to wait, only to have the money confiscated or returned to the senders, in this case.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

I would need many accounts to put some money into each to get paid from a gateway. Two years is longer than the time my gateway will work 😀

Bunq with darks can work, except that if I need many accounts (e.g. 10 per month) this way would be very expensive.
Instead, Bunq with Actors doesn't work because they currently ask for a selfie as soon as you download the app on a new device.

I completed verification with Stripe UK on two accounts this week. Was only asked to upload a scan of ID & utility bill. There was an option for live verification too but it wasn't mandatory so I obviously went with the scans

Once you have decent volume you will be asked to go thru the live video process, might as well finish now before your funds are froze...

When you're paying hundreds or thousands for a mask, they're often handmade and distinct enough that any two aren't more similar than two humans might be. We're not talking about Halloween masks you get off the shelf of a novelty store.

It's not foolproof but it can and does work, as long as the face matches the picture on the ID document.

Any lower budget than that and I guess it is not possible?
