I know bro, that's the trend. But perhaps there are some banks that are not properly updated with current security systems.JohnnyDoe said:
Expect ID+selfie to be discontinued, eventually all EMIs will use some third party live verification service.

I would avoid these banks if they still exist. Anyway it's not so difficult to trick Credas and similar 😉KScyprus said:

For example, most gateways still don't do any live verification. Stripe started a few months ago.

Bunq with darks can work, except that if I need many accounts (e.g. 10 per month) this way would be very expensive.
I completed verification with Stripe UK on two accounts this week. Was only asked to upload a scan of ID & utility bill. There was an option for live verification too but it wasn't mandatory so I obviously went with the scansKScyprus said:

Once you have decent volume you will be asked to go thru the live video process, might as well finish now before your funds are froze...mok said:

It works perfectly, with some makeup and a wig you can do magic.
C'mon this cannot be real. There must be like 10 standardized masks that everyone use?
Any lower budget than that and I guess it is not possible?Sols said:
When you're paying hundreds or thousands for a mask, they're often handmade and distinct enough that any two aren't more similar than two humans might be. We're not talking about Halloween masks you get off the shelf of a novelty store.
It's not foolproof but it can and does work, as long as the face matches the picture on the ID document.
