Hong Kong company - bank account / EMI?

Thanks. It didn't occur to me to use google, it gives better results.

I found one result that says Wise is no longer offering their multi currency account for HK entities. And then I found other posts that banks won't open an account without a physical presence in HK or Asia, and in general it's a pain in the a*s to have a HK company nowadays.

But I met in person one guy some weeks ago who told me he has a HK company, and he's very satisfied with it. So there has to be a way how it can work without hassle. That's why I posted this. I'll keep searching, maybe there's an answer somewhere ...

yeah, we try to improve the search function, but it's not easy, Google spit out results in addition to what you get in the search field.

Does a Hong Kong company have an obligation to have a bank account or can I just use an EMI?
