Guys,
I read a lot of posts on the mentor forum about cashing out crypto safe and easy, and for the sake of helping people here (I am not promoting anything) I can suggest one solution that I have personally used.
In one south east european country crypto physical exchanges are perfectly legal and they pop like mushrooms, this I was told by a friend and I went to check it out myself.
I went there (very cheap flights) with my hard wallet (safe to fly) and I went to this exchange currency office like store where they ask you how much crypto you want to exchange and what type of crypto do you have. They give u the rate for their service (2.5+% depending on quantity) and they do it right away on spot. They put the cash money on a machine, count it and u transfer your crypto to them. You wait a litlte bid for the confirmation and then you are good to go. They can even issue a receipt for the conversion, which I do not think you can later on use as a proof of funds.
Ofc i didn't want risking and flying back with all that cash so I just used a local nearby hawala shop that the crypto store recommended, which transferred the cash money to my home country(also for a fee).
They also offer the service in reverse (if you want to buy crypto with cash). I am sure you can also open a non resident account and put some cash money in the bank and get a credit card if you want to stay enough time to finish the whole process.
So this might be a good solution for somebody wanting to actually be safe and do the whole process physically and hand to hand. They don't ask for your name, proof of funds, how u got the crypto or anything similar. Only downside was that i saw cameras in the store, but that is normal for their security I guess.
Cheers
