Hello guys. I've opened recently a US LLC, mostly for banking/investment abroad (I am not. The thing is that I would also like to receive my current salary in crypto for my company too but due to regulations, I cant use an US entity for that. That's why I need a cheap jurisdiction where I will be able to sign my agreement. And UK came into my mind as the cheapest one.
I don't really need banking as long as I am able to open all the accounts I need for my US LLC (including off-ramp crypto exchange), but it would be nice to be able to do it for my UK LLP as well.
My question is: will I have problem opening EMI and crypto exchange (like FTX and Binance) accounts for my UK LLP if I have my US LLC listed as a partner? What if I only give 1% ownership to the LLC and keep 99% for myself? In this case I will be the only member who needs to be listed during registration as they only request us to list the members/partners/UBO who have 10% or 20% of ownership.
I would prefer to avoid spending more than $1k in maintenance fees for a jurisdiction like BVI.
