Reference letter for Belize incorporation

I'm helping someone incorporate in Belize and the registered agent is asking for a:

• Bank Reference Letter; and
• Professional Reference Letter from Accountant/Attorney

This would be their first company, meaning they can't provide a letter from an accountant; same goes for the bank reference as all the person has is a retail banking account.

Any ideas?

P.S. No idea how this ended up in the Cyprus subforum, mods please move this to the appropriate one.

Even with a retail bank some will provide a reference letter if asked. Have they asked? A letter from an accountant is easy to obtain if the person has filed taxes before with the account. They can just ask.

Ok, thanks. We'll try doing that and report back if we encounter any issues... maybe I can ask my own accountant to provide a letter for a fee.
