As someone unfamiliar with P2P, what would make the bank transactions appear suspicious?

The problem is that if you do many P2P transfers with large amounts in volume. For a single transaction or two it won't be any problem. The guys you find around here are pulling hundred of thousands each months, that's why it is a problem.
