Hello, I am wondering if its possible to setup a offshore crypto friendly bank account as a us citizen. My company needs to send wires to Kraken to pay our suppliers in crypto. It seems all banks in the US have issues with this so I was wondering if I can transfer from US bank --> my own offshore crypto friendly bank --> then to kraken. Anyone know offshore crypto friendly banks that work with us citizens?

Try SEBA, Sygnum, Swissquote, and Bank Frick. AFAIK, they have not policies specifically prohibiting US persons. However, opening accounts for US citizens is slightly more involved than many other nationalities, so banks might expect a decent amount of turnover or deposit on the account.

Classical offshore banks (the ones on tiny islands) are not suitable for this, since they are reliant on risk averse correspondent banks to survive and almost never accept crypto transactions.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

Do you really want to open a private bank account and not a corporate account?
