Hello everyone,

I'm stressed a bit about my situation and hope you guys will be able to help.

So, basically, I just created a company in the UAE (Freezone) and I'm going to live there (tenancy contract & EJARI already done). I have no issue having a personal bank account but having a corporate bank account is a nightmare.

So, after checking this forum, I found out that many people living in the UAE are using a US LLC to get their funds. Therefore, I'm considering this option.

My questions are:
1 - My clients are based in Europe. Is the US LLC a good idea ?
2 - Can I transfer my money from my US LLC to my personal bank account in the UAE without any issue ?
3 - Do I have to link my US LLC to my freezone company ?
4 - How long does it take to setup a LLC and have the bank account ? I've heard that setting up an US LLC can take up to 40 days because of the EIN number. Is that true ?
5 - Finally, where would you go to open your LLC ? I had an offer from a french guy: 2.5K€ for setup + 1K€ yearly for the fillings. I've also taken a look at some websites like northwest agent but it seems like you have no assistance when it comes to the annual fillings? How do you guys manage it ?

Hope you will able to help me 🙂

Thanks a lot!

Did you speak with @Fred or @Gediminas ? both are well known to be able to help people with their UAE setups as well as people already set up there.

I believe to live in Dubai and have a US LLC with Wise could work but why would you do that?

1. Yes US LLC has no problems for european clients
2. Yes
3. Make the US LLC's member to be the freezone company
4. EIN is 40 days due to covid, but our express ein service shorten it down to 7-8 days 🙂
5. see my signature 🙂

If the freezone company is the member, won't the OP still have the same problem when approaching banks since the freezone company is still in the structure? I've read posts by one of the members who pesto mentioned where he said that without his specialist help, accounts for freezone companies are getting increasingly difficult to open. Presumably therefore the OP's problem is that banks are reticent to associate with UAE freezone companies [in line with the op's statement that having a corporate account is a nightmare]. Could you expand a little on why that problem would go away for a freezone company that is member of the US LLC? For any biz account I've opened, the bank has asked for details on the entire member/owner chain.

The idea is to get the bank account for the US LLC, which a lot easier

Yes I understand that, @startfleetio have you successfully been able to open a US bank account for a US LLC with the member being a dubai freezone company?

that's an interesting question which need to be answered. Should you take his service then please come here and report back if you got your account.

You could make use of @Admin Escrow service to cover most lost should something go wrong.
