Looking for a reliable merchant for a website in the adult industry

Hello everyone,

I am about to start an online dating platform for adults, which will (probably) include nudity so It'd probably be classified as a P**N site.

I need a reliable merchat to process customers credit cards - I saw some people in here recommending CC bill but their reputation is horrible (just read the online reviews).

I'd love to hear about other merchants that work with websites in the adult industry, preferably from experience.

By the way, the business will probably be registered in Sychelles or Belize, still haven't decided.

another option I consider is registering in Cyprus or Panama, if finding a merchant would be too problemetic.. but still need a merchant that supports processing credit card for an online website in the adult industry

hmmm, I don't believe this reviews, they are the leader in the Adult industry. You have to consider that 80% of the people entering the Adult industry market don't know what they are doing nor do they know what the business is about. Copyright rules, stolen content and even illegal content are just a few problems CCBILL has to fight with.

Once such CON's are spotted and their accounts are shut down and the money frozen, they start screaming scam and posting the s**t you read around about them.

CCBILL, Verotel and Epoch Systems are the leaders or centuries. The guys on Trust Pilot are most often not even adult them self but just got their first hair on the penis.

fair enough, I'm also aware that many companies pay for positive reviews.. but when so many people complain about them I get suspicious you know.. do they work with belize & sychelles registered companies? or should I go for cyprus?

I am in the adult dating space. I worked with Verotel for several years and they are great. Rules recently changed so you need to have the company inside the EU, CA, or the US. I would say Cyprus is great to open company.
With Verotel you also get bitsafe so you do not really need to think about getting a bank account for the company. It's hard. almost impossible to get anyway. If you want more information feel free to PM me.

"Verotel charges a fixed 15.5% of each transaction." jesus that's a lot, on my (well, more legit) business I pay slightly over 1% per transaction if it's a visa or mastercard. I understand it's high risk but kinda feels like a rip off.

Well yes if use Verotel from the website and full service, but I use another service they have call cardbiller, 5% fee. There you have to deal with support things from customers your self more or less. I pad 15% on CCBILL a few years ago but agree it's way too high but get cardbiller from Verotel then you get a good deal IMO. I don't think anyone does adult dating cheaper at least I have not found anyone.

I guess that's the cost of business. Gotta redo my math.. out of curiosity do you use 3d secure on your websites? I'm considering that to reduce the number of disputes from customers
 
Yea most other billers I have seen is around that numbers, and yes I use 3D secure and not have any disputes at all since I added that. Some of my friends run the same type of sites and the same, No chargeback at all after they added 3D secure.

Great, and since you don't have a bank account for the business where do you transfer the money? directly to your personal bank account?
 
yes with bitsafe its like an online bank acc, You can transfer where ever you want and they also have MasterCard you can get and use

yes, I run my own dating sites, adult and I have bitsafe and several others doing the same all with Bitsafe. When I setup my billing account I got bitsafe automatic connected to that. So I would assume if some affiliates work with adult and have a company they should be able to get. I m not sure if there is a difference because I have biller acc but do not think so. I have some guys that work as affiliates and they have companies with Bitsafe and its adult dating as well.
