Hello all,
I read here few banks in PR are not so desirable !

Any ideas, tips & list of Bank in Puerto Rico for personal banking and remote opening.
Euros and $ currencies.
With no need of proof of residency or adress for the Bank.

Personal banking with no shady or grey stuff with PR bank in good standing working order.
for EU passport holder + avoiding CRS.

Any help, advice , shared experienced will be much appreciated from you guys.

The due diligence docs for Elite for example looks like they do take US companies. You however need to look into each of them as US companies is not my area at all.

1 bank listed above is ok to open remotely personal account in Euro + $
I guess they open to pretty much world wide citizens (+ or -).

They ask for :
"Valid tax registration, if you do not have a current tax registration, record a receipt for services in your name, if you do not have a receipt for services in your name, you must send it, along with an explanatory letter, signed by you, indicating the relationship between the parties."

I was never asked this before....


Do banks in PR comply CRS with Europe or other juridictions ?
What is the risk If i communicate real TIN of home country ?
Or do they possibly ask for TIN regarding USA compliance with IRS ?
