in an alternate universe, you may've given your bank account number and password to your bank "tech support" that turns out, that it's not "Support" but a scam group based in whatever country, and they stole your funds and transferred into different EMIs and then later into crypto.

So, you didn't have any options left but to report this fraud to your bank so they can freeze your account "after the money is transferred".

Silly ideas, but entertaining nonetheless.
