Seem's McAfee took his own life after the Spanish courts approved his extradition to the United States to face tax evasion charges. So who thinks he was wacked? I'm 50/50 it's a lot less shady then Epstein's death but still unsure why he would kill himself over tax evasion charges usually your looking at some time in a tennis camp that's low security. Thoughts everyone? ns2

RIP John McAfee🙁

Hey
in the vote there is a 3rd posible version missing:
he might live.
the guy is a genius, he loves himself way too much to comit suicide
and he has so much money that he can probably buy the whole prison.
probaly he is sonewhere on a yacht lookin at the sunset and laughing about what he has just done.
if he is really gone he may rest in peace

I'd imagine he is really dead. The US seized all his assets and McAfee had lost a decent bit of his wealth over the years he was still a millionaire but far less millions than years ago.

How could all his bitcoins be taken from him? This is unlikely

If he wanted to "die" this way, he could have done it a long time ago. Why waiting till now, in a spanish prison?

The man was 75....lived a great life.... Rather than going face the nonsense of the US prison system, over some stupid tax evasion charges, well you can bet your a*s I would be done too...

Based on McAfee's behavior over the years, I think he had Schizophrenia. People with that illness can be completely sane for weeks, maybe months. Then they lose it and become totally paranoid and psychotic. If e.g. his money situation was bad, there was not anything too good for him in the future.

It is really sad he is gone. He had a lot of information and insights into privacy (not just computer privacy) and related things. Also he had a very eventful life, hence a lot of good stories.

He was just an attention Seeker.
Even After his death, He wanted to be in news.
That's why He created this type Drama so that People believe He did not commit suicide , somebody killed him.
He achieved what he wanted after his death.
He created some kind of mystery around his death.
Even after years people will talked about him.

Indeed He was master manipulator and Genius.
He created legacy for him, Normal Death never created this type of legacy.

He achieved what he wanted after his death - yes, but I think in a few years nobody will remind him at all.

Agree, maybe he faked his dead as some of the major conspiracy theorist may claim!
