NON-CRS SETUP: Dubai Company with FREE Residence Visa and Bank Accounts! - DLS Dubai

Hey everyone,

feel the need to drop a little Review about Fred and his service after working with him for about a year. For me it is super important to find a service provider that does its job well, is discrete and trustworthy as well as cost/time efficient - I found all of these traits in DLS Dubai.

The technicals:

Fred helped me to establish a Freezone Company with 1 Visa. Furthermore he guided me - literally step-by-step and I felt optimally prepared at any point - through several bank account openings. I came home with 2 personal accounts and 2 business accounts after two 1-2 week visits to Dubai.

More details:

On top of the initial fee I had to spend about 1k EUR for extra substance to help with the bank accounts. I liked that Fred is flexible and creative with his solutions - he did not sell me an extensive package of things that I might never need. Instead his service was more like a modular kit with tools I could rely on just in time. I appreciate this kind of efficiency a lot.

Fred is up to date and well connected. We even sat down privately to exchange ideas/experiences. He became a valuable source of information for me. The 'guy on the ground' that you wish for when setting up base in a new jurisdiction.

Conclusion:

Especially considering that I am not an easy client in every aspect (Cashing out Crypto is one of the main goals of the UAE setup) Fred did an excellent job. The remote communication was smooth and all his advices were actionable. Same goes for meetings in person - once even at 3 o clock at night which shows his dedication in terms of 'Delivering'.

His price is absolutely fair - right in the middle compared to other providers I consulted. He is a man of his word and delivered more than I asked for.

I'll write a short review as well.

First got in touch with Fred in December, had a zoom meeting shortly after and decided to work with him. Obviously he's very knowledgeable and well connected.

He delivered everything as promised. Every question or concern was dealt with. Just received the last information I needed about a broker account and will set it up in the coming days - but I expect it to be working out as well, hence I can already leave the short review here.

I would always do it again and will refer my customers to him as well.

No - it doesn't - it has never took so long.

The client was referring to staying 3 weeks in Dubai till the Business Account Compliance was done so that he could receive all the Bank Cards in Person and doesn't need to bother with International Card delivery.

If you can't effort staying this timeframe in Dubai you can fly out after 5 full working days once you have personal Bank Account Card and Physical Emirates ID received in Person.

Business Account Compliance can be sorted remote and you either fly in to collect the Starter Package once compliance approves the Business Bank Account or you let it ship international which of course can take some time.

We set up our offshore structure more than 20 years ago because we were operating in a number of different countries around the world and at the time of setting up the structure the offshore agent introduced us to Euro Pacific bank (EPB) for our banking. This all worked well with good service from their professional bankers until 2017/2018 when the news regarding the Plutus Payroll scam broke in Australia. This together with the release of the Panama Papers saw an exodus of the professional bankers from EPB and the appointment of non-banking call center staff at EPB provided by staff placement agencies such as Global Corporate Staffing.

In 2019/2020 Australia, Netherlands, USA Canada, and the UK launched Operation Atlantis to investigate EPB. Even though our business was totally legitimate and fully tax compliant in the different countries in which we operated we knew the writing was on the wall regarding EPB. So we started searching for bankers to replace EPB. However we had been out of the loop regarding aspects such as the EU Black and Grey lists, new AML laws, and the Due Diligence surrounding the KYC laws. After 18 months contracting many offshore agents and bank introduction services without any success it was obvious that our offshore structure was obsolete and we needed a total restructure of our business.

So we started a search for a company that could assist us in understanding our structure and in recommending a domicile and re-structuring for our business. This took almost a year with many false starts by people making huge promises and unable to deliver. Eventually we came across Fred and DLS Dubai. By this time we had information that things were going to get very bad for EPB so we knew that we had very tight deadlines to get our money safely out of EPB.

Having been burnt by EPB and outdated company structures we were extremely cautious and conducted as in-depth research as possible into Fred and DLS Dubai and except for one dodgy review everything looked very good for Fred.

After calls with Fred we did get a feeling that he has a real in-depth knowledge of how things work in Dubai, and they are complicated, and he grasped our predicament with EPB and our very tight deadlines.

The initial contact with DLS Dubai was impressive we received email responses within hours and then a very detailed timeline of how the process would progress.

I flew to Dubai and arrived on a Sunday. That afternoon Mr Mohammed the DLS Dubai PRO collected me from my hotel and we went to collect the original company registration documents. The next day, Monday, Mr Mohammed took me to complete the forms, photos, finger prints, and medical for the Dubai residence application.

On Tuesday I received my residence card and applied for personal bank account which Fred assisted me in completing on Tuesday evening. On Thursday I received my ATM card from the bank and deposited funds and tested the ATM card for withdrawals.

I left Dubai on the Saturday having achieved my goals of the restructuring and applying for bank account.

After leaving Dubai, Fred assisted me in applying for a business bank account. When I say assisted, Fred handled 95% of the work, I only provided aspects such as a photo, resume, and other personal information, all the rest was handled by Fred. To say that this process was frustrating is an understatement as the bank kept on coming back with ever more compliance questions even requesting the same document about 5 times. But Fred handled everything with aplomb, and after a month the business account was opened.

I am glad to report the we moved our funds out of EPB 1 week before they basically went out of business in June this year.

Having spent many years working with offshore agents I have nothing but praise for the service I received from DLS Dubai, Mr Mohammed was an absolute pleasure to work with, Dina in the office was very efficient, and all issues were handled by Fred extremely professionally.

I may have made it sound as if everything is very quick and easy but believe me without Fred's contacts, knowledge, and guidance on what is required, what to submit, and how to respond to questions it would not have been possible to succeed in achieving what we did.

I too availed of DLS-DUBAI services a year ago. They helped setup a company, required IDs and business bank account. I can relate to some of the challenges mentioned by previous posters in this thread, but nothing Fred couldn't sort out - his knowledge of how things are done and what it takes in Dubai is impressive.

I am happy to say that during this 1st year, things are still running smoothly, the solution actually works as intended. I have renewed the license with DLS-DUBAI and that was a walk in the park.

I have been put to the test a couple of times by bank asking for additional KYC, general communications etc. With the continued support and advices from Fred, everything has been and is always being dealt with and sorted out in a professional manner, to my complete satisfaction.

Highly recommended. DLS-DUBAI is 100% kosher, as it were.

This is proving to be a problem the bank statement is not accepted by IBKR

Depends on the purpose - do you want to use it as proof as address or do you want to use it as source of funds.

In your case as far as I can see your Business Bank Statement is still empty - use it 1 month get statement with some history on it and it's passing no matter if proof of address or source of funds.

Do I have to show some existing clients, contracts, my profile (Linkedin, etc.), existing personal bank statements, and existing company bank statements for the business bank account opening? Someone being crypto-rich and cash-poor may have issues with a proper banking history. I was tempted to bite the bullet, but answers to these questions will be important in me deciding to go ahead.

@Fred one more question will I be able to receive funds from Kraken into my business bank account? I suppose Kraken nowadays has a presence in Dubai.

Minimum we require is 3 months personal bank statement - which we can help with - additional could be a CV requested which we can help with again.

After dealing with Dls Dubai for the past few months I thought it was a good way of giving back writing a review of their service.

I had been looking at setting up an overseas business account for quite a while before finding DLS. One thing that became blatantly obvious is that things are constantly changing and I often spent a lot of time going down one route only to find it was a dead end or information was outdated and could have cost me a lot of money or worse. After numerous frustrating attempts on my own I decided to use a professional and chose to go with Fred.

Being a highly skeptical person I entered our dealings with a lot of care, looking for the gotcha or the scam along the way which didn't materialize. Once we began to know each other I gradually became more comfortable with Fred, he has a real in-depth knowledge of how things work in Dubai and believe me they are complicated. If you're thinking of doing this yourself stop right now and reconsider, there are so many pitfalls and curve balls that you will be pulling your hair out with frustration and likely lose a lot of money, far more than the cost of his service. It's like navigating a minefield without a metal detector or climbing Everest without a Sherpa, seriously don't do it.

Even with Fred's depth of local knowledge and contacts things were still frustrating at times, setting up a business and opening a business bank account in Dubai is like hitting a moving target, add in the Covid travel restrictions and you are in for many hurdles along the way. From the time we started to the time I flew out to Dubai things had already changed and we had to rethink things as we went along. I can honestly say without Fred's help I would have gotten nowhere with this.

Fred is a genuinely nice guy trying to help his customers.

I have nothing but praise for the service I received, we were hitting problems from day one and Fred handled them all professionally and with aplomb, maybe people don't realize the patience required to undertake something like this, you will need patience and it will be tested but rest assured Fred does everything he can to make the right things happen, as he did for me.

I recently used Freds service.

From payment it took only around 2 weeks to get the visa sorted, I then arrived in Dubai and within less than a week I had the company formed and emirates ID. The process was quite straightforward and well run. The business bank account took around 2 months.

I have had people tell me that I could have done much of it myself, however I would say that doing so would take up a lot of time that you could be doing on other things and I also think it would not likely be done as quickly.

If you want to just get a company setup and everything in order for applying for a business bank account, without having to become an expert on an ever changing system, then I would recommend this service.
