Spoke to a few of these and they blatantly mentioned that they may lock people out of their account, prevent transactions from occurring (inbound and outbound) if they get flagged (source, volume, frequency, it could be anything).

So make sure you speak to whichever you choose to try and avoid these issues by letting them know ”“in advance”“ your transaction profile (how much, how often, from where, etc).

Sorry for not updating. I managed to rent an office in HongKong + hired an Employee in Hong Kong which was in line with the policies of CIM BANQUE. The account remains active and problem solved!

Yes. CIM Bank provides both - SEPA and SWIFT with a multicurrency IBAN.

Regarding all the guys looking for banking options remote for their HK companies: all available EMI options are already mentioned here. Additional you guys can have a look at Worldfirst Business accounts.

We have clients that managed to open SIngapore bank account with OCBC for their HK company as well. The problem with Hong Kong company is it's close to impossble to get a HK bank account in 2021 as the banks ask for substance and as soon as you have enough substance to satisfy the banks you can't get the tax exemption and have to pay taxes.

For the initial thread question: You can setup a UAE company in Dubai and combine this with either a UK LLP or US LLC to satisfy the merchant accounts. That's the way most of our e-commerce and dropshipping clients go without any problem. They just use the UK LLP or US LLC to collect the payments either with Payoneer or Mercury and shift the profits to their Dubai company business account with a real bank in UAE and then invest it from this account or just using the UAE accounts as a savings account.
