Has anyone an experience of setting up a company with "Dubai Virtual Commercial City"? System looks similar to the Estonia e-residency programme, i.e., aimed at one-person enterprises, working globally. However, the list of activities which they regard as acceptable is rather narrowly defined, i.e., computer services, design, printing/advertising. Nothing else allowed apparently, and my activity is not included. Does anyone know if they stick to the list (see www.vccdubai.ae) rigourously? Or can you blag your way through it? And any idea of how easy it is to open a bank account after registration? Thanks.
