Hi there peeps,

here it goes.

I'm a non-resident anywhere and try and stick to the 183 days to a country rule. My work takes me to several countries in a year so it is not that difficult to adhere to at all. I'm European citizen too!
Tax authorities tend not to believe that one is not tax liable anywhere and they are looking hence for ways to prove you wrong which brings along its on problems.
Salaries received from my work comes normally from Offshore companies and goes into an offshore account.

My thoughts were to set up an offshore company for that and then maybe then set up shop and life in Cyprus or Bulgaria (maybe Malta) which I can then choose as my base and my tax residency.

What do you think?

Thanks

It all depends where you want to live.. You can find a few discussions comparing Cyprus, Bulgaria and Malta. Depends on too many conditions.. If I shall pick one, I say Malta..

it all comes down to where tou want to live.
once you have sorted that then the resy will fall into place.
what area ggeographically do you spend the most time?

Places I would like to live in would have high tax rates and if I'm only spending 5- 6 months a year in that country do I not see the justification for such a tax bracket.
I travel the Med in my line of work a lot and I think I will have a closer look at Cyprus since it seems to have the better conditions for me. It appears to be a nice place to live in as well.
Company set up with a minimum of 60 days presence should be achievable in my line of work.

Cyprus is definitely a great place to live. For most people in your situation it is the sensible choice.
If you were to live in the UAE it has to be worth it. Your costs will be about €60K to live and work before you eat.
These 2 are the best especially for accessibility to the world.
