It looks like it is an EMI with an application, IBAN account and debit account.

Do you know quppy.com

A secure app for IOS and Android. Inside the decentralized Quppy Wallet:

  • Support of BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH and EUR operations;
  • Own exchange service;
  • Opening of IBAN accounts in a EU bank;
  • Lendings secured on cryptoassets;
  • Multilanguage user support;
  • KYC/AML procedure.
To open an account, they need an Iphone / android.
The application takes a picture of your ID and a selfie of yourself with the ID to get an IBAN account.

TC is quite small.

Havent actually used them, but the lack of ssl certificate on their website is somewhat disturbing.

Looks to me like a SCAM site, no license information no SSL certificate nothing that would make me trust this website just a second!

Cant really find any somewhat fresh information about them at all. They seemed to be active on forums etc etc about 1 year ago, but then just less and less into nothing. Shady.

Seems more like a crypto wallet than a full grown EMI. Besides the SSL red flag, I was not even able to find where they have this supposed EMI license:

https://thebanks.eu/emis/Estonia

And they seem to have originated from Belarus:

they even edited the Belarus part out after some time for the article, which seems shady:

Well last thing one needs is getting stuck in some financial dispute over sanctions, which if im not totally wrong is still affecting Belarus from most places of the world.

Well then, it's much better to go directly to Clear Junction in that case. However, seeing as they are FCA licensed I wonder how stable that might be if Boris continues to play games with the EU regarding the whole post Brexit negotiation.

How do you think? is it safe to transfer the money from Quppy to Interactive brokers?
Quppy support said it's possible to do. I am afraid that there will be problems with the broker.

With the exception of quppy.com, does anyone know of other EMIs that offer IBANs of clearjunction.com?

Quppy seems like a pretty interesting wallet to me, so I'm thinking of trying it out. But how careful should I be? Can developers be trusted?

Yeah, I've heard about that. I've contacted Quppy's support service. They admit that there is a problem and said they will solve it.
However, I wonder, how reliable quppy's promises really are?

Well they have issues concerning creating IBANS for 1 month now.

If they still have issues with these IBAN's and you really asked the support for an update which they are unable to answer then I stay far away from them.

Well, I wouldn't call these issues serious. As I understand, they integrated some new features, so IBAN creation was temporarily blocked. Once they solved it, IBANs became available again.

so have you finally opened an IBAN account or you're still on the fence, just as I am?
