Why Use Centralized Exchanges for Crypto if Decentralized Options Are Safer?

and what‌ website would you suggest here?

What if I just want to exchange from BTC ->‍ DAI often or from LTC -> DAI often and back again ?

Maybe on a daily basis?

What is the minimum amount you need to trade with them to become a customer?‌

Googling and researching a little:
FRNT primarily refers to FRNT Financial Inc., a Canadian-based financial‍ services firm specializing in capital markets and advisory services for institutional investors in the cryptocurrency space.

It's not for personal trading.

100k is chump change on exchange or⁢ on chain - sorry but that’s the reality

As for stop loss etc there’s protocols︀ out there with exchanges on chain that have these facilities

Are you able to share what kind of fees FRNT charges for a $1m trade?‌

the key to "free world economy" is⁢ in p2p and you should not use crypto as some form of modern bank.

ive seen 55BTC (5mill) trades on Thorchain (the backend of most BTC-ETH DEXes) in a‌ single swap...

DEXes are getting much better. Thorchain is also working on limit orders... Pretty‍ soon u will be able to set limit orders to buy and sell.

Ledger actually just integrated with thorchain for swaps on the backed as well.

Thorchain is a game⁤ changer

You won't get around exchanges with KYC like kraken and binance if you want to‌ be able to quickly exchange your coins at low fees within seconds.

the only real use for kraken at this point is limit orders or leverage trading‌ or cashing out to a bank

2of3 of those are in the process of being‍ decentralized. And u can cash out p2p via localcoinswap or binance p2p

kraken or binance, same‍ same when it comes to KYC!
that's really cool, but the problem is the⁣ long waiting time for an exchange, the last time I put 100K through and I⁢ was almost getting a hard attack because it took that long and I thought I︀ had lost them!

Yeah, u have to understand how it works. Streaming swaps, vwap to get the best‌ price execution. Large swaps take about an hour. Most times, i start a swap and‍ let it be and check back in an hour.

99.99% of the time there are no issues.

Again, this will only get better and more refined.

Today, its not at⁤ the Binance UI experience level. Within a year i have no doubt it will be.⁣

With the merge between RUNE and KUJI, thorchain is seperating the base layer from the⁢ app layer.

KUJI will be the thorchain app layer and will have PERPS, Limit order,︀ futures, etc, utilizing the base liquidity within thorchain.

Plenty of large swaps happening on thorchain..... Biggest ive seen thus far was 55BTC in‌ one swap.

Million Dollar trade from ledger integration, Ledger only integrated Thorchain 1 week ago. They are‌ already making more per day than their wallet sales. They are making 100k+/day profit from‍ their affiliate fee.

How big is the risk to get tainted coins on the DEXs? In that case,‌ it can be hard to ever get back to a CEX if one want to‍ exchange for fiat later to invest in stocks, for example

bigger liquidity, smaller price impact on buys/sell.

basically if you are trading large sums, you‌ must do it on CEX otherwise you will lose so much % due to poor‍ liquidity on DEX.

for small amounts ? Stick to dex unless you are trying to save ERC gas fee i guess?

either way, treat CEX the same way you'd treat⁤ a one night stand with a low quality drunk girl. You do what you have⁣ to do and get out fast.
