EU is nice for some people like regufees or employees in some sectors but definately‌ not good for entrepreneurs. Taxed as hell not to mention new "save the planet" taxes‍ added on top of that.
Although I think global eu tax is unlikely and EU⁠ passport is valuable for travel. EU residency definately not, leave EUSSR while you still can⁤

same, same, repeat! I don't see how you can come closer to any answer than‌ what already is posted here in this thread. For some EU is cool, if you‍ have a 8 - 16 job and for others it sucks if you are an⁠ entrepreneur.

Have you ever heard about countries like a Cyprus, Malta,⁣ Romania, Bulgaria?
They are all in EU and their standard tax rates are quite competitive,⁢ absolute not tax hells.
I even don't mention special tax regimes that available in big︀ number of EU countries for entrepreneurs i.e. small/new business in different areas.

Specific Germany or︁ Italy is far not whole EU to make generalizarions about 'whole EU is a tax︂ hell'.

Core countries of European Union which are: Italy, France, Germany, Spain are⁣ tax hells, one of the worst in the entire world. I agree Cyprus and Malta⁢ can be attractive but these are peripheral states of EU. Core of EU is tax︀ hell.
Also, I am afraid Ursula might pressure Malta/Cyprus to change their tax regime, long︁ term it might not be the best solution to move there.

and again, if you⁠ have claims specifically against Germany, Italy, France, Spain - then you need to specify them⁤ accordingly and not generalize to the entire EU. because with such an approach, any user⁣ of this forum can be called a scammer and a criminal, just because there were⁢ (and are) some guys here who are engaged in illegal things

The passport is fine. But life in the EU is not, well at least it‌ maybe was 5-7 years ago (peaked). Quality of life is declining, healthcare is getting worse,‍ migration, stupid laws, bureaucracy, taxes, privacy, faggots everywhere etc.

The fact US leads Europe is solely due to bloated‍ tech valuations, something challenged greatly by the recent rise of China and the in particular⁠ the DeepSeek AI event a few months ago. Europe is poised for monumental growth as⁤ it decouples from the US, focuses on it's own interests, and aligns more closely with⁣ it's largest export market China. There is a wealth of data that backs this prediction⁢ too.
