Too much paper work. Not worth the headache.

have you‌ tried the process?

Depending on what goals I have I would say.

No, I do not try.

As usual Swiss Bureaucracy. Too many‍ things You have to do.
Even on canton level !!!
Better to visit Switzerland as Tourist .
There are many more option⁤ available for your need rather than Swiss.

I've heard that the ease of naturalization depends heavily on the‍ canton. Also you should not switch cantons during naturalization. Locals may have power to veto naturalization(?). A vegan was denied naturalization for being too damn annoying even though she had⁤ been in Switzerland all her life.

Switzerland has a 5 year reduced naturalization requirement for⁣ EU citizens (may exclude new EU nations, double-check it)
Residence counts as double for under⁢ 18 residents.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, will consult someone in Switzerland before the next step.

No problem, let us know what they think 😉 I'm also curious as to how‍ easy it is to naturalize as an EU citizen there

please let us know... considering the Swiss for a long time by all.

Are you looking to move to Switzerland or also naturalize? Are you‍ an EU citizen?
