Taking a Car From the UK to Romania longer than 3 months

Hello all,

I will be relocating to Romania from the UK, and I wish to take my car with me.

I believe UK cars are no longer allowed to be re-registered there, and cannot stay longer than 3 months.

Are there any work arounds? Eg, its a company car, some type of lease agreement, etc...

Essentially any method possible to keep a UK car in Romania indefinitely?

No workarounds. Sell your car and get a new one in Romania.

Yet there are people keeping and driving exotic RHD cars with UK registrations in Romania.‌ How do they do it? Pay off the police?

Not gonna be worth the trouble, unless you have really pressing reasons safe yourself the‌ time to find a way

If it is legal you may find a car dealer who has such cars on stock‍ or import them. You could ask him.
