Absolutely worth it.
Definitely saver then‍ any other South American/latin Country.

Yes.
6% income tax in a specific structure with your own‍ LTD. Opening Bank accounts is tricky, since if you don’t have a Sri Lankan being share holder, they don’t give you a physical Card.

I was there recently and it's fine.

The government is of course a joke, and‌ many people struggle to get by, But in terms of environment, it's super chill and‍ the people are great. From what I saw people get on well, and there was a willingess to help each other out in various ways.

Not sure I would live⁤ there but to spend a month or two there a year would be great.

Are you wanting to relocate there?

Sinhala and Tamil.

Yes, I would say English is pretty good.‍ People working in hotels and hospitality, of course, are the best, but I stayed with a family in a small village, and their English was good. On the street -⁤ like anywhere, it's a mixture. But I had no issues getting by, buying from street⁣ vendors and going around markets etc.

English is official language. Everyone learns it In school. Whats important‍ and matters is that English is used in court and is the business language.
