Turks are not fools. If a guy shows up with a Sao Tome and Principe passport less than a year old that lists his birthplace in the UK, especially if he’s not of African ethnicity, they are going to start asking questions. I believe they now require you to come to Turkey so they can take biometrics for CBI applicants.︀ Then there is the need to get a police certificate from Sao Tome and Principe︁ with no permanent address there, which is probably doable because lol Africa, but it’s still︂ an added complication.

As said, if he is able to︀ hide his UK past in Sao Tome and Principe, he could slip through in Türkiye.︁ The name change imo does not help much.
But now you are talking about more than just citizenship by investment. At least a name change, obscuration of place of birth, and an inaccurate police certificate. Plus talking about “slipping through” in Turkey by omitting things from that application.
Yes, the things you mention are probably what it takes today if you want to completely disappear and avoid the risk of being recognized somewhere while moving around, even if you don’t travel but just want to live a quiet life wherever you are.
There are better places to do that than Turkey. Probably better places than Sao Tome and Principe unless your face is black.
