Saudi Free Zone Company

I wish to establish a company in Saudi Arabia in a free zone, and I also plan to reside in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Riyadh. I have an online business and only deal with individual European customers. Could you please tell me the tax rate and VAT rate ? Vat exempted like UAE ?

VAT on sales to EU customers is due regardless of where you are based. There‌ is nothing different between UAE and Saudi Arabia. Sales to EU incur a VAT liability‍ regardless.

If you provide a digital service, it's very common for small non-EU/EEA companies to⁠ not charge VAT even in cases where they should. EU isn't doing much about that⁤ at the moment, though, but that's not the same as saying UAE or Saudi Arabia⁣ is VAT exempt. Non-compliance isn't exemption.

Ditching UAE for Saudi is foolish act IMHO .....Saudi is not as modern as UAE.......‌

Maybe, but i think cost of life is cheaper in‍ Saudi, weather is better because of lower humidity, and maybe no 9% taxes

What about Qatar? Qatar seemed more modern than KSA, but my impression could be wrong.‌
