• Crypto friendly.

It beats Vanuatu!

Some interesting features:

• Multiple nationality permitted
• No tax on worldwide income
• Easy documentation: no apostilles needed
• Children can be included up to age 30 (must be financially dependant)
• Parents or grandparents of the Main Applicant or their spouse can be included, provided they are aged 55 or older.
• Confidential process: names will not be published

Visa free access to 61 countries, including Burkina Faso, Colombia, Haiti and Zimbabwe.

If you can blend in with the typical Saotomean guy (see below), then you might have a chance to be taken seriously by banks.

I must say it sounds to me not as a bad option. The price is fair. What I understand after receiving the passport you can apply for a Brazil residence permit and apply for a Brazil passport after 1 year residency as a citizen from a formal Portuguese colony. But in practice, what are your thoughts? Not a bad deal. 2 passports for 90-100k and 7 months living in Brazil during one year. But I am sceptical about how this will work out in practice.

It is not a bad option per se. The real question is: why do you want a second passport? It’s definitely not for the fairy tale reasons of “privacy, tax evasion, or a secret escape plan.”
Your triangulation strategy sounds smart, if there's a solid reason behind getting a Brazilian passport.

@NewHorizonsParaguay could advise if São Tomé is acceptable in Paraguay. That could be a clever path to a PY passport for those who are not Italian or Spanish.

However, losing your original citizenship is not a concern even if you don’t hold Spanish or Italian passport. We handle it, so you can keep your original passport as well. Of course, if the country of original passport permits dual citizenships.
