You think success is determined by territory taken. Russia clearly doesn't see it that︀ way. Note their staged objectives, it never contained land mass. It was denazify and demilitarise.︁ They've been working on that without even needing to advance as Ukraine keeps sending troops︂ into the meat grinder.
