Right now, someone from their military needs to take out Zelensky, imprison the neo n**i Bandera nationalistic element as the start of erasing that idealogy and then unconditionally surrender based on the terms set by Russia. I believe Russia would be willing to let them retain Odessa, so they are not dead︀ economically.
If not, Ukraine will cease to exist as a nation-state, and the lives lost︁ will rise significantly. Many Russian soldiers will die, but tenfold Ukrainians will die, and they︂ will be all but destroyed.
