Serbia should join the US-EU sanctions against Russia, Economy Minister Rade Basta said Monday on social media.
“Our country is already paying a high price for not sanctioning Russia and that’s becoming unbearable,” Basta declared on Twitter and Instagram. “I am for sanctioning Russia, and I have full confidence in President [Aleksandar] Vucic’s defense of our state and national interests, which is why I ask all other ministers and the cabinet to make a decision on the matter.”

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant on Friday against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Putin is only the third serving president to have been issued an ICC arrest warrant, after Sudan's Omar al-Bashir and Libya's Muammar Gaddafi.

Did anyone truly foresee what would unfold when Putin launched the war in Ukraine , and how it would reshape the global landscape? The conflict has triggered a cascade of changes, most for the worse: economic instability, geopolitical tension, rising authoritarianism, and a general sense of insecurity.

No I didn't but Donald Trumps first 180 days in office has done more economic harm and delivered more global instability than Russia's multi year war. It has had a greater impact then the war globally. The cutting of USAID will apparently result in more deaths globally than the war in Ukraine. Also︀ his tariff war may disrupt global trade and will lead to more job loses, instability︁ and poverty. Hopefully he tacos out before August 7th or the legal case going through︂ court will at some point in future deem his tariffs unconstitutional and they get reversed︃ as he did not get approval by congress.
What the war has shown however is︄ that countries are now looking at their trade exposure and currency exposure due to seizure︅ of Russia assets i.e some countries have repatriated their gold even. Reducing exposure is something︆ China did in first Trump term with its energy mix supply and reducing its dependency︇ on US as an export market. US exports now make up less then 3% of︈ China's GDP hence why Trump is the one now begging for meetings with China....lol. Germany︉ did not diversify its export markets for its heavy industries plus was hooked on a︊ cheap Russian energy model. They are soon to be hooked on expensive US LNG model︋ having agreed a one sided trade deal with US.
All in all the Ukraine war︌ has shown me the US is no friend of Europe, Ukraine, its neighbors or any︍ country and cannot be relied upon as a partner in any area including climate change.︎ Russia having to fight a US proxy war in Ukraine and basically take on NATO️ and holding its corner should be ringing alarm bells in Brussels. How are billions being spent in Ukraine with no positive outcome in the conflict? Also Putin somehow managed to plan extremely well to protect his economy by having an independent financial system that has survived huge sanctions, asset seizure, almost total disconnection from SWIFT, travel bans etc etc. I remember they even practiced a disconnect of their systems from global internet before the war....talk about planning overkill.The Russian economy should be completely dead but it is not. Other countries need to study and learn from what Russia did geopolitically.
I hope peace will come︀ at some point as Russia has taken over 20% of Ukraine and even areas that︁ contain minerals 😕.

There are two options which will need a bigger military which is pandemic II or civil war caused by the conflict in middle east.
The first option fits the date till when the higer military reserves needs to be fullfilled.
Military service even for the old ones in︀ germany for example is not to send them to the front but to run a︁ somehow working plan econemy in a big crisis.
